Daquari Bishop

Patient Care Coordinator, Cullman

  • Eight years’ experience in the MAT field
  • Also serves with Brandy Drake at First Step Behavioral Health
  • Intake coordinator and Treasurer for a non-profit men’s sober living program in Cullman

Daquari was born and raised in Cullman County and has dedicated her career to serving individuals and families affected by addiction. For her it is both a deeply personal and a professional passion. She was raised in a family affected by addiction, and has now herself been clean for over eighteen years.

She understands first-hand the challenges, uncertainty and fear that can come with addiction and with the decision to seek help. Having lacked someone to encourage her and believe in her, that is what she now sets out to be for the people she works with.

She has worked extensively over the past eight years in the MAT (medication-assisted treatment) field, having started at a larger corporate facility as a patient registration representative and taken on more responsibility as she grew. She continues to gain valuable experience assisting our patients as Patient Care Coordinator at our Cullman office, where she also still serves alongside Brandy Drake at First Step Behavioral Health. She serves as intake coordinator and Treasurer for a non-profit men’s sober living program in Cullman as well.

She believes those struggling with addiction deserve compassion, dignity, encouragement, and the chance to learn that recovery is possible. Recovery changed her life, and she works daily to help others discover that it can change theirs for the better too.

You are not alone.

That first phone call is a brave and pivotal step. If we are assisting another client, leave a message and we will call you back.
